Asylum Seekers and Humanitarian Protection

If you had to leave your country and are unable to return due to fear or persecution you may be eligible to apply for asylum.  Asylum claims should be made as soon as possible upon entering the UK or when you are made aware it would be unsafe for you to return. If your partner and any children under 18 are in the UK with you, they may also be able to apply as dependents.

We will take a detailed statement from you stipulating the reasons why it it unsafe for you to return to your country and we will submit an application on your behalf. There are also various documents which need to be collected, such as evidence of accommodation and identification documents which we will also help you collate.  You will then be invited to a screening, followed by a substantive interview.
