Notary Public Services
A Notary Public is often needed when you have documents which need to be sent abroad. The signature and seal of a Notary Public in this situation acts confirmation to foreign authorities that the document is properly signed according to UK law and any relevant checks have been conducted.
If you require a document to be notarised, you will need to bring the following with you:
- 1 x Proof of ID (passport, driving licence, national ID card, residence permit etc.)
- 1 x Proof of address (bank statement, utility bill, tenancy agreement, HMRC letter etc.)
If the document is in a foreign language, it will need to be translated into English and a statutory declaration by the translator confirming that it is a true translation will need to be provided.
If the document has been drafted by Bassi Solicitors, we will let you know during your initial consultation whether the document will also need to be signed by the Notary Public. If you already have the document and are unsure as to whether it will need to be notarised, please call us on 0121 554 0868 or email email@example.com and we can advise you further.
Please note, we are only able to accept Notary Public bookings between 1800-1830 on a Wednesday afternoon, and these appointments will need to be pre-booked. Call us now on 0121 554 0868 to make a booking.
